What is letting go

Over a few years, galvanized nails can work loose from ground movement and repeated foot traffic, adhesive can weaken from heat cycling, and a wood restraint can rot in a damp climate. Walk the full perimeter, since a lifted edge often starts small at one corner before it is obvious from a distance.
